A unique mobile app for healthcare professionals

Alexion pharmaceuticals commissioned the design and production of a dosage calculator for the drug Strensiq® as an initiative to assist healthcare professionals calculate the correct dose of medication for each patient.

The simple-to-use interface enabled healthcare professionals to quickly enter the patient’s body weight and preferred number of weekly injections; the dose to be injected together with a colour coded vial type was then clearly displayed.

The app also included a link to the essential pharmacological information of the Strensiq® medicene including any side effects. This was in 25 language options.
